Snapdragon 750G to be the latest 5G-capable chip: Qualcomm announces

 In August 2020, Qualcomm had announced the Snapdragon 732G and later teased that 5G will come to its 4-series by next year. Now by the end of September 2020, Qualcomm has announced its Snapdragon 750G.


The primary aim with this chipsetis to bring the group of premium mobile feature to even a wider range of audiences. So far, there is 140 5G designs based on the 7th-series. Qualcomms latest offering joind Snapdragon 690, 765, 768, and 865 in queue.

The Snapdragon 750G has an octa-core Kyro 570 that can go up to 2.2 GHz. It has a lower clock speed of 765G and is based on 8nm processor instead of 7nm. When it is compared with the 730G, which is found in the Google Pixel 4a, there is a 20% improvement.

Meanwhile, the Adreno 619 GPU offers 10% better graphics compared to 730G, while Snadragon Elite Gaming features are also present. The most notable is Adreno Updatable Drivers via Google Play. They supports 120Hz Full HD+ displays along with HDR10+ and 10-bit color.

Talking about the connectivity front, there's a Snapdragon X520 5G modem that is capable to support both Sub-6 GHz and mmWave with multi-SIM capabilities. It also has Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6-ready, while Quick Charge 4+ is also available.

Qualcomm made its 5th-generation AI Engine and Sensing Hub for the noise cancellation and suppresses the background noise. Some of the specific used cases includes voice chatting and invoking smart assistant while gaming. The upcoming 750G also comes with pin and software compatible with the Snapdragon 690 6G Mobile Platform.

According to the reports, Xiaomi will be the first device using the new Snapdraon 750G. The commercial availability is excepted to be the end of year 2020. Quaxin Wand, the gerneral manager of the product and technology, Xiaomi Internation, said:
